The city of Glasgow

Glasgow is one of Europe’s most fashionable and lively cities, and is one of the UK’s most popular tourist destinations. It is the largest city in Scotland with a population of around 1 million.

Just a 50 minute train ride away, Scotland's second largest city is easily accessible for a day trip. As well as the famous Edinburgh festival, there's buzzing nightlife, an impressive castle and lots of gorgeous Georgian architecture.

Home to 3 large universities, Glasgow is the perfect destination for international students. The city has plenty to see and do for people of all ages and backgrounds. There is a fabulous range of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs to suit all tastes as well as museums, galleries, cinemas, comedy clubs and theatres. The cosmopolitan nature of Glasgow is reflected in the many and varied amenities available, from specialist food shops and restaurants, to places of worship throughout the city. 

Glasgow has excellent transport links with cities in the rest of the UK, Europe and the world. Glasgow’s International Airport is only 15 minutes drive from the University. Students sometimes explore the beauties of Scotland and the UK and many travel to Europe during their holidays.

Strathcldye Business School

Founded in 1947, Strathclyde Business School (SBS) is a World Renown Buiness School. It is one of the Triple Accredited Business School : one of the 57 in th world (2012) and the only Business School in Scotland holding accreditation from the International bodies AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS.

SBS offers Flexible Degree majors in 2 subject areas and also Cross Disciplinary and Specialist Degree.

 Campus Life

Majority of students choose to live on campus on their first year. By staying on campus, students find out that it they are able to settle into life away from their family and friends. It is also a good way to interact with new students and to make new friends. 

Students will find a sense of belonging and also find it a place where they can study and live in with their newly made friends. The residences has close to 2000 rooms to offer, which is just minutes from the University main buildings, as well as it's city centre where you can find shops, eateries and entertainment.
