CATS College offers high school programmes at four exceptional sites, at Cambridge, Canterbury and London in the UK and at Boston in the USA.  CATS College achieves impressive academic results for A Level, IB, University Foundation and GCSE programmes. A strong focus is given to helping international students gain entry to top UK universities.

In 2015, 92% percent of our A level students progressed onto a Times top 50 university with 43.4% of A level students achieving of A*- A and 69.8% of A level students achieving grades of A*-B.

100% of our IB students achieved grades equivalent to A*-B at A level and 80% of University Foundation Programme students progressed into to a Times top 50 university.

The school also enjoys notable success in placing students into Oxbridge universities as well as into Medicine, Dentistry and Finance & Accountancy university courses.

Our exceptional success rate can be explained by providing excellent tuition delivered by expert teachers in small classes all provided in a safe and supportive environment specifically designed for international students. The majority of our Teachers are Oxbridge qualified or taught to post-graduate level that are experienced at nurturing and guiding international students to fulfil their potential within the British educational system.

In addition to excellent tuition, the school also offers over one hundred academic and other activities that allow students to discover their talents, ignite their passions, enhance their skills and help them make a competitive entry to university.

These courses include, the CATS Global Leader Award (worth 70 UCAS points), the Excelsis Award, the Model United Nations, the Duke of Edinburgh Award as well as many more. CATS College also offers a diverse range of activities such as sports, arts, music, social and academic clubs.

Key Profession programmes are offered for students aspiring to follow a certain career path, and provide a carefully crafted programme allowing students to gain vital career related experience in fields such as: Accountancy, Architecture, Banking, Engineering, Finance, Law and Medicine.

Our Oxbridge Preparation Programme provides additional support for outstanding students in order to prepare them for the rigorous Oxbridge application process and make them stand out from all the other applicants

University Foundation

A 9 month programme designed for international students looking for UK university entry. Designed for motivated students looking for a supported and focused bridge programme from international high school to UK universities.

A 6 month Fast-Track programme starting in January is offered at CATS College London to allow students an even faster route into their chosen university

80% of our University Foundation students’ progress on to Times top 50 universities, including but not limited to: University of St Andrews, Durham University, University of Exeter, University College London, University of York and Lancaster University.

GCSE & Pre:Programme

GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) is a key stone in the UK national curriculum, and consists of two-year study plan which provides a solid secondary education foundation before choosing the right study pathway onto university.

By choosing to study GCSE level education at CATS, our students allow themselves time to develop a solid foundation in English language and culture, to give them a distinct advantage as they progress through their education in the UK. Our younger students are cared for in our family-oriented campuses.

Our Pre: Programme  is a flexible 9 month programme of study designed to prepare students of 15 upwards to progress on to study A levels, International Baccalaureate or University Foundation.  Students can choose to take GCSE or IGCSE exams if required.

A levels

A levels (General Certificate of Education Advanced Level) is the classic route to university in the UK, and recognised by many of the best universities around the world. It is designed for confident students who aspire to the most competitive degree courses at UK universities and beyond.

Usually studied over two years in the UK. We teach A level at all of our UK campuses, offering students the opportunity to choose from a wide range of subjects.

At CATS College we offer the traditional two year A level starting in September, a one and half year course starting in January as well as fast-track one year option for high achieving students.
